 OUR NONPROFIT PARTNERS

At some point in our lives, we should all ask ourselves, "What is my role in the story God is telling?" Megan Johnson’s answer to this question led her to found CommonPlace.

What was once scribbled in a journal as an idea of how to create a philanthropic way to publish resources, she put into practice at her local church. It was there that she led her women’s ministry and began writing and teaching resources that benefited the local community. "It was an incredible experience to see how my background in publishing and journalism began to take on a kingdom shape.  I was so energized by teaching the gospel and giving back to others, that the vision began to grow beyond a concept into a mission."

During that time, Megan developed her own resources and put together a resource team and invested in the writing, teaching, and pastoral gifts of others. One of those resources that Megan’s team created has over 40,000 views. The joy Megan has in developing resources herself is only matched by developing leaders to lead in their own context, too.

Megan has been in ministry for a decade and is the Chief Program Officer for Illuminate cohorts, an accredited virtual discipleship program. She has an A.S.C in Theology and an MABL from Western Seminary.
